Do you think someone with less than three months at their job can call in “too hot to leave my wonderfully air-conditioned home” tomorrow?

I updated my passport for my upcoming trip to a strange new world. Anyone wanna act as my translator? I’ll be going on behalf of my church.

Other than that a very boring mundane weekend of trying not to melt.

And finishing my seminary application. All’s left are the references and the essay. But at least they got my name and address! Its a step! Although I had a bit of existentialism; they asked for the contact information of a person not living with me who would know my whereabouts. And I had no one. Sponsor? No cell phone and I don’t expect him to lkeep my whereabouts memorized. Friends? No one who really knows tht much? I guess I am a lone wolf. Ah well.

I have an idea percolating about my essay. My mentor thinks its a definite shoo in for seminary.
